Job summary

Mint AI seeks a founding engineer to build the operational backbone for Arabic-native AI deployments. You’ll create reliable, observable systems that run from pilots to production, shaping standards for the growing team.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in software engineering, with hands-on LLM/ML production experience, Python/Go, Kubernetes, and IaC. Fluency in Arabic and strong English are required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience.
• Hands-on experience deploying and operating LLM/ML systems in production.
• Strong Python and/or Go, containers, Kubernetes and infrastructure as code.
• Familiarity with GPU workloads and model serving frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design and run the infrastructure for deploying, monitoring and scaling LLM-powered applications.
• Build pipelines for model serving, evaluation, versioning and rollback.
• Implement observability for AI systems: latency, cost, quality drift and Arabic output accuracy.
• Support deployment in both cloud and on-premise environments that meet Qatar's data residency and security requirements.
• Automate CI/CD, testing and incident response for AI workloads.
• Work with Applied AI and ML engineers to take prototypes into production.
• Set operational best practice and document it as the team grows.

The role

Our AI systems run inside institutions that can't afford downtime, data leaks or unpredictable outputs. You'll build the operational backbone that makes Mint AI deployments reliable, observable and compliant. Your scope runs from the first pilot to production scale. As a founding engineer, you'll set the standards the rest of the team builds on.

What you bring

• Fluency in Arabic, written and spoken, is required, along with professional English. Arabic is our primary working voice, not a translation layer.

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 in infrastructure, platform, SRE or MLOps roles.


• Hands-on experience deploying and operating LLM or ML systems in production.

• Experience with GPU workloads and model serving frameworks (for example vLLM, TGI or Triton).


• Familiarity with security, compliance and data governance in regulated or government settings.
