Job summary

Mint AI is seeking Applied AI Engineers to turn client problems into production-ready Arabic-capable AI solutions. You will sit close to clients and Strategists, building custom applications on top of Arabic-language models for government and enterprise workflows.

Product thinking matters as much as engineering skill. You will design prompts, retrieval pipelines and evaluation frameworks while adapting models for Arabic and bilingual content.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of software engineering experience, including hands-on work building LLM applications.
• Strong Python skills and experience with modern AI frameworks and vector databases.
• Solid grasp of RAG, agents, fine-tuning trade-offs and model evaluation.
• Experience working directly with customers or business stakeholders.
• Ability to move fast, own outcomes and explain technical choices simply.

Responsibilities

• Design and build LLM applications, including retrieval systems, agents, document intelligence and conversational tools.
• Adapt models for Arabic, covering Modern Standard Arabic, Gulf dialects and bilingual content.
• Build rapid prototypes and demos that help clients see what's possible.
• Design prompts, retrieval pipelines and evaluation frameworks tuned to client data.
• Work directly with client teams to gather requirements and iterate on feedback.
• Harden prototypes into production systems with the AI Operations team.
• Share what you learn so it becomes reusable components and playbooks.
• Treat cultural accuracy as seriously as model accuracy, and design every application around the person it serves.
