Job summary

ApplyMint is seeking a Senior Software Engineer AI Ops to own the long-term health and stability of AI solutions deployed with public sector partners. You will govern deployments, manage SLAs, track model drift, and implement maintenance protocols to protect system integrity and margins.

You will bridge software engineering, MLOps and client governance, enabling operational excellence with reliability and scalable ML CI/CD pipelines. 5+ years in relevant fields is preferred.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in Software Engineering, MLOps, SRE, or Forward Deployed Engineering.
• Experience with production AI environments.
• Experience with CI/CD for ML pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Handover gate and onboarding to ensure maintainability and documentation standards.
• Tiered SLA and incident management across multi-tier service models.
• Lead incident governance and RCA within active support windows.
• Monitor production model performance, latency and data drift; manage prompts.
• Operationalize maintenance vs evolution boundaries; assess client requests.
