Job summary

Swan Global is seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage all commercial aspects of the Lusail Plaza Towers Project in Doha. The role focuses on cost control, contract administration, and financial reporting to keep the project within budget.

You will lead QS duties, oversee tendering, evaluate subcontractor payments, and provide accurate cost-to-complete forecasts while mitigating commercial risks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• MRICS or equivalent certification is a plus.
• Minimum 10+ years of experience, with at least 5 years in a senior role on high-rise or complex building projects.
• Extensive knowledge of contract formats (FIDIC) and local laws.

Responsibilities

• Lead all quantity surveying duties, including preparation of tender documents, bills of quantities, and variation orders.
• Evaluate subcontractor payments, process invoices, and manage final accounts.
• Conduct cost analysis and monthly financial forecasting (cost-to-complete reports).
• Manage contractual claims, disputes, and risk management.
• Review and negotiate contracts with suppliers and subcontractors.
