Job summary

WSP in Doha is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial and contractual management on landmark infrastructure projects. You will oversee payments, variations, and final accounts while ensuring compliance with FIDIC contracts.

With 20+ years' experience and MRICS, you will collaborate with project teams to optimize cost control and mitigate risks across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• MRICS is mandatory.
• MMUP/UPDA registration is mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Administer and manage all quantity surveying, commercial, and contractual aspects of infrastructure projects.
• Review and process contract payments, variations, change orders, and final accounts.
• Lead settlement of claims including EOT, disruption, delay, and costs.
• Draft and manage contractual correspondence with contractors and clients.
• Provide expert advice on contract interpretation and compliance with standards.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, and forecasted expenditures.
• Identify commercial risks and propose mitigation measures.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and legal teams on commercial issues.
• Prepare commercial reports, claim assessments, and management presentations.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and industry best practices.
