Job summary

Egis Group in Doha, Qatar is seeking a seasoned Quantity Surveyor to lead commercial and contractual administration on major Design & Build projects. You will review interim payments, manage BOQs, and produce cost-to-complete reports.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years’ experience in quantity surveying, a degree in related field, and familiarity with GCC contracting practices. Strong Excel, reporting, and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in quantity surveying or related field and 10+ years of relevant experience.
• Post-contract Design and Build experience is mandatory.
• Experience in interim payment assessment, measurements, BOQ administration, variations, and cost reporting.
• Familiarity with GCC/Qatar market and English communication.

Responsibilities

• Review Contractor's interim payment applications and verify quantities, progress, milestones, and entitlement.
• Check and verify monthly valuations of work in progress and recommend amounts for certification.
• Review BOQ items, payment schedules, measurements, and supporting documentation.
• Evaluate variations, additional works, omissions, design changes, and contractor proposals.
• Assist cost controls, cash flow forecasts, and cost-to-complete reports.
• Prepare commercial reports showing payment, variations, claims, and forecasts.
• Attend commercial meetings and support final account preparation.
