Job summary

RED CARPET TRADING & CONTRACTING in Doha, Qatar, seeks a qualified Quantity Surveyor to lead cost planning and financial control for building projects. The role focuses on accurate estimates, feasibility analyses, and robust procurement oversight to maximize value and adherence to budgets.

The ideal candidate will have a degree in QS or related field, MRICS preferred, and a minimum of five years in commercial or residential construction, with strong cost software skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
• MRICS certification is highly desirable.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in commercial or residential construction.
• Experience with cost estimation software and quantitative analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Prepare accurate cost estimates for building projects.
• Conduct detailed feasibility studies considering economic factors and risks involved.
• Manage procurement processes by selecting and negotiating with contractors and suppliers to achieve best value.
• Monitor project progress and maintain financial records to ensure expenditures align with the budget and timelines.
