Job summary

Burjline Builders in Doha is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to provide commercial leadership across complex infrastructure projects, including estimating, contract administration, tender evaluation and cost management.

Responsibilities include preparing Bills of Quantities, cost estimates and tender documents, reviewing contractor claims, administering contracts through the project lifecycle, monitoring cost performance and advising project teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 10 years' experience within infrastructure or utilities projects.
• Strong knowledge of FIDIC contracts.
• Experience preparing BOQs, tender documentation and final accounts.
• Excellent commercial awareness and negotiation skills.
• Professional membership (RICS or equivalent) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities and cost estimates.
• Review contractor claims and payment applications.
• Administer contracts throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project costs and financial performance.
• Prepare tender documentation and commercial evaluations.
• Support contract negotiations and final accounts.
• Provide commercial advice to project teams.
