Job summary

Abroad Work in Doha is seeking a detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor to join our growing team. You will estimate and manage costs for construction projects, ensuring budgets and schedules are met while preparing and reviewing contract documents and feasibility studies.

You will provide cost advice to clients, evaluate bids, monitor progress, and identify cost-saving opportunities. A Bachelor's degree and at least 2 years of experience are required, with visa eligibility for Doha.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years experience as a Quantity Surveyor in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to negotiate effectively.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Excel, and cost estimating software.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Indian nationality preferred.
• Must have a valid visa for working in Doha.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies to determine cost and viability of projects.
• Prepare cost estimates for materials, labor, equipment and other expenses.
• Create detailed contracts and tender documents.
• Evaluate bids from contractors and negotiate prices.
• Monitor project progress to ensure budget adherence.
• Identify potential cost-saving measures.
• Provide regular reports on project costs to clients and stakeholders.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and quality of work.
