mnft contracting, based in Qatar, seeks an experienced Quantity Surveyor (QS) to lead cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, and contract administration for construction and fit-out projects. The role emphasizes delivering projects within budget while maintaining high quality standards.

The ideal candidate will prepare BOQs, analyze tenders, manage variations and claims, and coordinate with project teams to ensure regulatory compliance and timely forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in construction or fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, and contract management.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BOQ based on drawings and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates and budgets.
• Analyze tender documents and prepare quotations.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports.
• Manage variations, claims, and contract administration.
• Take quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar standards and regulations.

We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Quantity Surveyor (QS) to join our growing construction team in Qatar. The ideal candidate will be responsible for cost estimation, budgeting, tendering, contract administration, BOQ preparation, and ensuring projects are delivered within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on drawings and specifications.
• Prepare cost estimates, budgets, and feasibility studies.
• Analyze tender documents and prepare competitive quotations.
• Evaluate subcontractor and supplier quotations.
• Monitor project costs and prepare cost reports.
• Manage variations, claims, and contract administration.
• Conduct quantity take-offs from drawings.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and consultants.
• Ensure compliance with Qatar construction standards and regulations.
• Assist in project planning and financial forecasting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• 3–8 years of experience in construction or fit-out projects.
• Strong knowledge of BOQ preparation, estimation, and contract management.

• Experience with AutoCAD, Planswift, CostX, or similar software is an advantage.
