Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha, Qatar, is seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to lead cost estimation, take-offs, and budgeting across civil, infrastructure, and MEP/MEICA projects.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s or Diploma in QS or related field with 8–15 years of relevant experience, including infrastructure and GCC exposure. You will review tender docs, prepare cost reports, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• 8–15 years of relevant experience in Quantity Surveying, estimation, or commercial functions.
• Experience in infrastructure, wastewater treatment, STP, MEP/MEICA, or construction projects is highly preferred. Qatar/GCC project experience is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed cost estimates, quantity take-offs, rate build-ups, and project budgets for civil, infrastructure, MEP/MEICA, and related works.
• Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work, and contractual requirements.
• Obtain, evaluate, and compare supplier/subcontractor quotations and identify cost risks or discrepancies.
• Support variations, claims, tender submissions, commercial proposals, and cost reporting.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Planning, and Commercial teams while monitoring scope changes and cost impact.
