Job summary

Al Ali Engineering Co.WLL is seeking a highly experienced Quantity Surveyor to oversee cost estimation, commercial management, and subcontract administration on major building projects in Qatar.

You will be responsible for detailed quantity measurement, interim valuations, and final accounts, with a strong emphasis on FIDIC-based contracts and local regulatory compliance. Gulf/Qatar market experience is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
• 12 years of relevant Quantity Surveying experience in building construction.
• Strong post-award experience covering architectural, civil/structural, and finishing packages.
• Expertise in detailed quantity measurement, interim valuations, and subcontractor certification.
• Experience in variation pricing, claims, and final accounts is an advantage.
• Gulf/Qatar construction experience strongly preferred, with knowledge of local authority and utility requirements.
• Hands‑on experience under FIDIC or comparable standard forms of contract.
• Strong knowledge of commercial management, cost control, and subcontract administration.
