Job summary

MUQAWLAT KUWAIT in Qatar seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage project payments and quantities for major infrastructure works. You will verify quantities and payment applications on site, review final accounts, and conduct technical audits to ensure contractual compliance.

Applicants must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying, MRICS, with at least 15 years post‑graduate experience and 5+ years on large infrastructure projects, with GCC exposure highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Quantity Surveying is required.
• MRICS qualification is mandatory.
• Minimum 15 years of post‑graduate Quantity Surveying experience.
• At least 5 years of site‑based experience on major infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of procurement methods, consultancy and construction contracts, and international contract conditions.
• Extensive experience with CESMM (Civil Engineering Standard Method of Measurement).
• GCC experience preferred, with at least 5 years in the Gulf region highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Verify quantities and payment applications at project sites in accordance with contract requirements and project payment procedures.
• Review certified works, materials, and final accounts to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Conduct technical audits and identify inconsistencies, errors, or contractual non‑compliance.
• Prepare and review quantity verification reports and corrective action recommendations.
• Process project payment submissions and provide contractual payment advice to stakeholders.
• Support contract closeout activities and final account assessments.
