Job summary

Nebras Energy in Doha is seeking a seasoned Learning & Development Senior Officer to lead and oversee comprehensive training programs for staff and trainees. Reporting to the Head of L&D, you will ensure professional growth and smooth integration of employees with a focus on strategic HR objectives.

You will plan programs for managers and senior staff locally and overseas, coordinate with Qatar Energy, CNA-Q, and universities, and manage training logistics, budgets, and compliance, while guiding

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources Management or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in L&D roles within large companies, with at least 3 years in managerial positions.
• Excellent understanding of Qatar GCC culture and working environment.
• Fluent English; Arabic a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan and organise training programmes for managers and senior employees locally and overseas to address identified skill gaps.
• Oversee growth programmes for new recruits from high school and diploma backgrounds, ensuring progression into competent roles.
• Coordinate with institutions such as Qatar Energy, CNA-Q and international universities for training sessions, tests and scholarships.
• Manage training logistics including fees, visas, travel arrangements and accommodations for employees and external experts.
• Handle daily counselling and disciplinary actions for trainees with Legal and Employee Relations to resolve issues.
• Track training expenses, manage budgets and process invoices through HRMS to ensure timely payments.
• Organise and supervise the L&D team providing on-the-job training and constructive feedback.
