ABB in Qatar is seeking a highly experienced Field Service Engineer to execute complex service tasks on 800xA safety systems, lead site planning, and ensure customer satisfaction with onsite delivery. You will identify opportunities in the installed base to improve system performance and collaborate with ABB teams.
The role requires 8+ years in related roles, with strong technical knowledge of modular safety systems and cybersecurity practices, and offers growth within ABB's automation portfolio
Competenze
- Graduate engineer with instrumentation or electrical engineering background.
- Minimum 8 years of experience, including at least 5 years in customer support / project / service engineering of 800xA based safety systems.
- Experience in Oil & Gas or Power & Water industries is preferred.
- Knowledge of 800xA based integrated control and safety systems (hardware and software) and AC800MHI library-based development.
Mansioni
- Perform complex field service tasks and diagnose technical problems on site or remotely.
- Plan and prepare site work for large projects and manage subcontractors at site.
- Deliver superior customer experience and communicate service timelines and expectations.
- Identify new service business opportunities in collaboration with customers and ABB teams.
- Coach technicians and engineers and supervise complex site activities.
