Job summary

Confidential, a leading organization in Qatar, seeks an experienced Corporate Compliance & Governance Leader to establish and steer an enterprise-wide compliance framework, embedding a culture of integrity and accountability across the business.

The role focuses on building a lean, hands-on function, partnering with executive leadership, regulating frameworks, and providing advisory support to senior management on regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of experience in compliance, governance, risk, legal, or regulatory functions.
• Experience building and implementing a corporate or regulatory compliance framework from inception.
• Hands-on leader who can operate with limited oversight and build a lean function.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and lead the organization’s corporate compliance framework.
• Develop compliance policies, procedures, standards, and monitoring mechanisms.
• Oversee compliance with laws, regulations, internal policies, and codes of conduct.
• Lead compliance monitoring, assurance, testing, and reporting activities.
• Manage conflicts of interest, investigations, remediation plans, and compliance matters.
• Provide compliance advisory support to business leaders and executives.
