Job summary

Merge Recruitment Agency is seeking an experienced Workshop Manager for the automotive sector in Doha. The role requires a technical engineering background, extensive managerial experience, and fluency in English with Arabic as a plus.

Candidates should be able to lead a workshop team, oversee procedures, and ensure high-quality service delivery. Responsibilities include coordinating with parts, supervising training, reviewing estimates, and guiding service operations to meet manufacturer

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Training & certificates – dealer standards.
• Minimum 10 years in automobile field with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
• Excellent communication in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Must own a car and have a driving license.

Responsibilities

• Assist in maintaining work procedures for workshop technicians/mechanics.
• Ensure timely completion of jobs per workshop manual quality standards and Service Process.
• Interact with parts department for critical and special requirements.
• Oversee induction and trainings on equipment operations and skills improvement.
• Oversee repair estimates before presenting to customers and provide guidelines if needed.
• Provide effective leadership to the workshop team to motivate and develop members.
• Participate in meetings with GM and department heads to discuss issues and concerns.
• Supervise vehicle delivery with Service Advisors to ensure quality service.
