Job summary

Habitas is seeking a Steward to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation across kitchen, prep, and back-of-house areas. You will support Culinary and Food & Beverage teams by keeping equipment, utensils, and spaces clean, organized, and compliant with hygiene standards.

Responsibilities include cleaning, sanitizing, and proper storage of items, operating dishwashing equipment, and assisting with setup and breakdown of kitchen operations during service and events.

Qualifications

• Basic English communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods and perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean, wash, and sanitize kitchen utensils, crockery, cutlery, glassware, pots, pans, and other equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness in kitchens, dishwashing areas, storage rooms, and back-of-house facilities.
• Operate dishwashing machines and other cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure items are dried, stored, and ready for use; perform deep cleaning per schedule.
• Support Culinary and F&B teams during daily operations, events, and functions.
