Job summary

Minor International in Doha seeks a Steward to maintain cleanliness, hygiene and sanitation across kitchen, dishwashing areas and service facilities. You will ensure all equipment, utensils, and workspaces are cleaned, sanitized and stored to company standards.

The role supports compliance with food safety regulations and safety protocols while assisting kitchen staff with cleaning tasks and reporting any issues to the supervisor. This is a full-time position.

Qualifications

• Cleaning and sanitation procedures must be followed.
• Adherence to food safety regulations is required.
• Safe handling of cleaning chemicals is essential.
• Maintenance and proper storage of equipment is expected.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, pans, crockery, and cutlery.
• Operate dishwashing machines and ensure proper cleaning procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in kitchen areas, floors, walls, and workstations.
• Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste according to company procedures.
• Ensure proper storage of clean kitchen equipment and utensils.
• Assist kitchen staff with basic cleaning and sanitation requirements.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report shortages to the supervisor.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, health, and safety regulations.
• Handle cleaning chemicals safely and according to instructions.
• Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, and safety hazards.
• Support deep-cleaning activities as scheduled.
• Follow instructions from the Supervisor, Manager.
