Job summary

Rise Enterprise in Doha, Qatar is seeking a reliable Kitchen Steward to keep the kitchen clean, organized, and running smoothly. You will wash dishes, keep work areas clean, and support the kitchen team to ensure food is prepared safely and on time.

This role is important for hygiene, safety, and the smooth flow of daily kitchen operations. No formal education is required; basic reading of safety labels is a plus, and prior kitchen experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• No formal education required; basic reading and understanding of safety labels is a plus.
• Previous kitchen steward, dishwashing, or cleaning experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be physically fit, able to stand for long periods, lift moderate weight, and work well in a team.

Responsibilities

• Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, cutlery, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment.
• Keep kitchen, storage, and dishwashing areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
• Sort, stack, and store clean items in their correct place after each shift.
• Dispose of kitchen waste properly and keep bins clean and covered.
• Assist chefs and cooks with basic prep tasks and moving supplies when needed.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleaning standards set by the company and local health authorities.
• Report any damaged equipment, low supplies, or safety issues to the supervisor.
