Job summary

OUR HABITAS is seeking a Stewarding Supervisor in Doha to oversee daily stewarding operations, ensure hygiene and sanitation standards, and support cross-functional teams. The role focuses on leading a multicultural stewarding team, maintaining equipment, and upholding Our Habitas standards across all back-of-house areas.

Qualifications

• Experience in stewarding within a hotel, resort, or hospitality environment.
• Previous supervisory or team-leader experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of kitchen hygiene, sanitation, cleaning procedures and chemical handling.
• Understanding of food safety and HACCP principles is preferred.
• Ability to supervise and organize a multicultural team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily stewarding operations and deploy the team per requirements.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment, utensils, crockery, glassware and operating equipment are cleaned and stored correctly.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of stewarding and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure dishwashing machines and stewarding equipment are maintained in good condition.
• Coordinate with Culinary and F&B teams to ensure availability of clean equipment during service, events and functions.
• Conduct regular inspections and address deficiencies promptly.
• Lead, motivate and develop Stewarding associates; provide coaching and feedback.
• Monitor inventory of stewarding supplies and report breakages or losses.
