Job summary

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA - Qatar, Doha is seeking a Kitchen Steward to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness, sanitation, and hygiene across all kitchen and stewarding areas. You will ensure proper cleaning, organization, and storage of equipment and food service areas to support daily operations.

The role includes handling dishwashing, sanitation practices, and assisting kitchen staff during busy periods while adhering to safety and hygiene regulations and company policies.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in stewarding, kitchen cleaning, or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
• Experience working in hotels or large-scale food service operations is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Wash dishes, pots, pans, utensils, kitchen equipment, china, glassware, and silverware using dishwashing machines or manual methods.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, preparation surfaces, sinks, counters, walls, floors, drains, and storage areas.
• Ensure stewarding and kitchen areas remain clean, organized, and hygienic during each shift.
• Operate and maintain dishwashing machines, pot-washing stations, hand-wash stations, and waste disposal equipment per procedures.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and hygiene regulations and hotel standards.
