Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Doha, invites applications for a People & Culture Operations Manager to lead the P&C team and strengthen our department in line with MOHG's culture and vision.

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha, you will oversee recruitment, employee lifecycle, compensation programs, and compliance with Qatar laws while fostering a diverse, high-performing workforce. Fluency in English and GCC experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience as a People and Culture Manager or 3 years as an Assistant People and Culture Manager or equivalent role.
• International experience with GCC and/or Doha preferred.
• Able to communicate fluently in English, verbally and in writing.
• Able to learn and apply local laws effectively within a reasonable time frame.
• Able to work with multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with departments to meet recruitment needs and guest satisfaction.
• Oversee vacancies, recruitment, and budgeting alignment.
• Manage all colleagues' lifecycle: starters, transfers, promotions, variations, leavers.
• Oversee day-to-day P&C operations and department workflow.
• Plan, organize, and implement department activities.
• Maintain compensation program and ensure compliance with Qatar laws.
• Maintain headcount in line with budgets.
• Handle disciplinary and grievance procedures with the Director of People and Culture.
• Provide HR support to department heads to meet business objectives.
• Establish and maintain effective colleague relations.
• Adhere to corporate and hotel P&C policies.
