Job summary

Mandarin Oriental, Doha is seeking a People & Culture Operations Manager to lead the P&C team, ensuring recruitment, policy adherence and smooth daily operations in a luxury 5-star environment.

Based at Mandarin Oriental, Doha, you will partner with department heads, manage vacancies, oversee disciplinary procedures, ensure compliance with Qatar laws, and foster exceptional colleague relations across a multicultural workforce. Fluency in English is essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Higher National Diploma equivalent in Hospitality/Hotel/Business Management or Human Resources.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a 5-star hotel environment.
• 2 years as People & Culture Manager or 3 years as Assistant P&C Manager or equivalent.
• International GCC/doha experience preferred.
• Fluent in English, verbal and written.
• Ability to learn and apply local laws within a reasonable time frame.
• Ability to work with multicultural teams.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with departments to ensure recruitment needs are met to delight guests.
• Manage vacancies and recruitment functions, within budget and operational needs.
• Oversee starters, transfers, promotions, variations and leavers procedures.
• Oversee day-to-day P&C operations and department workflow.
• Plan, organise and implement P&C activities and initiatives.
• Implement and annually update the compensation program.
