Job summary

Q-Soft in Qatar is seeking a Workplace Engineer to own and optimize on-site IT infrastructure, end-user support, and collaboration platforms within enterprise environments.

You will manage Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, and Microsoft 365, while enforcing information security policies and coordinating with cybersecurity teams.

Arabic nationality is mandatory and immediate availability for on-site work in Doha is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT/CE or related technical discipline.
• 3+ years of progressive IT infrastructure support, systems administration, or workplace engineering.
• Hands-on Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Core networking fundamentals: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP.
• Deep experience with Microsoft 365 and collaboration suites.
• Strong information security policy understanding and incident management.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
• Arabic nationality and immediate on-site availability in Qatar.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot workplace IT infrastructure, networks, servers, and collaboration platforms.
• Provide end-user technical support and resolve complex hardware/software issues.
• Manage user accounts, AD domains, and Group Policies with RBAC considerations.
• Monitor performance, network reliability, and endpoint security posture.
• Maintain documentation, runbooks, assets, and provide user training.
• Ensure compliance with information security policies and participate in incident response.
• Coordinate with vendors and regional IT teams for hardware upgrades and replacements.
