Job summary

voco Doha Central is seeking an Information Technology Specialist to ensure our hotel technology runs smoothly for guests and colleagues. You will install, maintain, and troubleshoot IT systems, delivering reliable support to enable seamless guest experiences in a premium hospitality environment.

Based on a pre-opening property in central Doha, this on-site role requires strong problem-solving, teamwork, and a service-oriented mindset as you help deploy PMS, POS, Wi‑Fi, and other systems, while

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Previous experience in an IT support, helpdesk, or systems administration role, preferably within hospitality.
• Knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and troubleshooting techniques.
• Familiarity with hospitality systems such as PMS and POS is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Providing first-line technical support for hardware, software, network, and system-related issues.
• Assisting with the setup, configuration, and maintenance of hotel IT infrastructure and equipment.
• Supporting hotel systems including PMS, POS, Wi-Fi, IPTV, telephony, and back-office applications.
• Monitoring system performance and resolving technical issues in a timely manner.
• Maintaining user accounts, access permissions, and IT asset inventories.
• Assisting with system backups, software updates, and security procedures.
• Coordinating with vendors and service providers for equipment maintenance and support.
• Ensuring Compliance with IHG technology standards, policies, and cybersecurity requirements.
• Maintaining accurate records of support requests, system configurations, and IT documentation.
• Supporting pre-opening technology projects and system implementations.
