Job summary

voco Doha Central is seeking an Assistant IT Manager to lead day-to-day hotel technology operations, maintain secure IT infrastructure, and support pre-opening IT setup.

You will manage hotel systems including PMS, POS, IPTV and Wi‑Fi, ensure cybersecurity and data protection, and coordinate with vendors to keep downtime minimal while delivering guest‑focused service in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant IT experience, including supervisory or specialist roles in hospitality.
• Experience with hotel systems such as PMS, POS, IPTV is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Managing the day-to-day operation of hotel technology systems, networks, hardware, and software.
• Assisting with pre-opening IT setup, installation, testing, and commissioning of IT infrastructure.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting for hotel colleagues and departments.
• Monitoring system performance and minimizing downtime across hotel operations.
• Supporting cybersecurity, data protection, and IT policy compliance.
• Managing user accounts, system access, and IT asset inventories.
• Coordinating with vendors for system upgrades and maintenance.
• Supporting hotel systems including PMS, POS, IPTV, telephony, Wi‑Fi, and back-office apps.
• Maintaining accurate IT documentation, records, and backup procedures.
