Job summary

ADES is seeking a senior Drilling Operations Supervisor to oversee day-shift drilling activities from the rig floor, ensuring safety and efficiency while coordinating with OIM and client representatives at Al-Jazeera Doha.

You will plan and schedule drilling and workover programs, supervise crew, maintain well control readiness, and ensure compliance with company manuals. Offshore rig experience, strong English, and long tenure required.

Qualifications

• Minimum twelve (12) years of drilling and workover operations experience with reputable drilling contractors.
• Experience as Assistant Driller and Driller with offshore rigs.
• Intermediate level in English (written & spoken).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and control drilling operations during the day shift. Direct crew to achieve client requirements and safety standards.
• Plan and schedule all drilling activities, ensuring deviations are approved and documented.
• Maintain well control readiness and supervise well control calculations and drills.
• Communicate progress with OIM/Night Toolpusher and Client’s Representative; relay changes to the team.
• Mentor and develop the crew; ensure training and competency as part of ADES’s program.
