Job summary

ADES Holding in Qatar seeks an experienced Drilling Supervisor to oversee offshore night-shift drilling operations, ensuring safety, well control, and efficient execution while coordinating with the OIM and client representatives.

The role requires 15+ years in drilling/workover, offshore rig experience, strong English, and proven leadership to mentor crews, review logs, and maintain equipment readiness following company procedures.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school or vocational/technical qualification.
• 15+ years of drilling and workover experience with reputable drilling contractors.
• Minimum two (2) years in tool pusher position.
• Must have working experience on offshore rigs.
• Intermediate level in English (written & spoken).
• PC literate in Microsoft Office.
• Situational awareness, communication, teamwork, and performance shaping factors (stress and fatigue).

Responsibilities

• Supervise drilling operations and ensure safety and efficiency on the drill floor and related areas.
• Plan and schedule drilling activities; direct personnel to meet client requirements.
• Coordinate with OIM and Client’s Representative; manage deviations from the well plan.
• Oversee well control planning and execution; supervise well killing operations when needed.
• Maintain logs and prepare daily drilling reports and equipment status updates.
• Provide clear instructions and develop the team through training and safety drills.
