Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha is seeking a senior technical engineer to provide advanced diagnostics at system, application and infrastructure levels. You will own root-cause analysis, manage permanent fixes and coordinate OEM back-to-back support cases.

You will maintain configurations, firmware and software releases, drive preventive-maintenance and predictive monitoring, and mentor Level-2 staff while contributing to design documents and knowledge bases.

Qualifications

• 4or more years hands-on with the specific system in a comparable environment.
• Diagnostic and root-cause skill.
• Documentation and mentoring.
• Advanced-incident resolution within SLA.

Responsibilities

• Provide advanced diagnostics at system,application and infrastructure level for the system.
• Carry out root-cause analysis for major andrecurring incidents and own the permanent fix.
• Open and manage OEM back-to-back support casesunder the same ticket and SLA clock.
• Own configuration, firmware and software maintenanceand coordinate manufacturer releases and upgrades.
• Own the preventive-maintenance procedures andpredictive monitoring for the system.
• Maintain the design documents, SOPs andknowledge base; mentor and sign off Level-2 competence.
• Provide technical assessment to the ChangeAdvisory Board for changes to the system.
• Operate and maintain NETKA; maintain deviceinventory, thresholds and alerting; investigate monitoring gaps.
