Job summary

Madre Integrated Engineering in Doha, Qatar seeks a Cable-Management & Documentation Engineer to provide advanced diagnostics at system, application and infrastructure levels, and to perform root-cause analyses, owning permanent fixes. You will coordinate OEM back-to-back support cases and oversee configuration, firmware and software maintenance with upgrades.

The role also covers preventive maintenance procedures and predictive monitoring, plus maintaining design documents, SOPs and knowledge

Qualifications

4+ years hands-on experience with the system in a comparable environment.
Strong diagnostics and root-cause analysis skills.
Ability to document and mentor others.
Advanced-incident resolution within SLA.

Responsibilities

Provide advanced diagnostics at system, application and infrastructure level.
Carry out root-cause analysis for major incidents and own the permanent fix.
Open and manage OEM back-to-back support cases under the same ticket and SLA clock.
Own configuration, firmware and software maintenance and coordinate releases and upgrades.
Own the preventive-maintenance procedures and predictive monitoring for the system.
Maintain design documents, SOPs and knowledge base; mentor and sign off Level-2 competence.
Provide technical assessment to the Change Advisory Board for changes to the system.
Operate imVision; maintain connectivity records and as-built drawings; keep CMDB current.
