Job summary

Commercial Bank seeks a Lead Specialist for National Talent Development to implement national development programs and build internal capability. You will design and deliver training, induction for new joiners and leaders, and develop career pathways for Qatari nationals across the bank.

You will collaborate with the Unit Head and managers to ensure effective program execution, mentorship, and succession planning, aligning with CB’s nationalization strategy and talent framework.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Psychology or equivalent.
• 6–10 years’ relevant experience in HR and learning and talent management, including at least 6 years in managerial roles.

Responsibilities

• Support Unit Head, National Development in the overall management and implementation of national development programs through training, coaching and mentoring.
• Deliver new joiners induction program and Leaders Induction program, and design work placement for students with follow-up.
• Review progress of Qatari nationals to recommend suitable placements/training in the Bank.
• Work with line managers and Unit Head on national development programs to enhance career development.
• Monitor performance management for Qatari staff to align with development targets.
• Develop national talent management frameworks and the national talent pool.
• Develop a comprehensive national talent review, career and succession planning with business units.
• Prepare and deliver on the annual National forum.
• Design, develop and deliver training programs for national development.
• Develop and implement leadership training programs to support CB strategy.
• Develop internal coaching and mentoring strategy and follow up to ensure knowledge sharing.
