Job summary

Kimpton Doha, part of InterContinental Hotels Group, is seeking a Telephone Operator with luxury hotel experience. You will handle all incoming and outgoing calls, coordinate wake-up calls, assist guests with international calls, and support guest services while maintaining confidentiality.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar Telephone Operator or hotel position.
• Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage, with the ability to communicate with Arabic-speaking guests preferred.
• Excellent telephone etiquette and customer service skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a professional and friendly attitude.
• Good computer and business center equipment skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining guest confidentiality and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Handle all incoming and outgoing calls professionally and courteously.
• Record and coordinate guest wake-up calls accurately and on time.
• Assist guests with international calls, directory enquiries, and general telephone requests.
• Page guests and staff members in coordination with the relevant departments.
• Handle guest requests and complaints promptly while maintaining guest privacy and confidentiality.
• Maintain accurate daily records, logbook entries, hotel information, and airline schedules.
• Promote hotel services and facilities while ensuring the cleanliness and proper operation of the work area.
