Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Doha is seeking a kitchen/culinary team member to support daily food preparation and service at our esteemed property in Doha. You will handle ingredient preparation, cooking, and plating while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety, and presentation.

You will work closely with a professional team in a luxury setting, following all policies and Gold Standards to ensure memorable guest experiences every day.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of related work experience.
• No supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables.
• Weigh, measure, and mix ingredients; prepare and cook food according to recipes and quality standards.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test foods for doneness.
• Monitor food quality and maintain kitchen cleanliness and safety practices.
• Stand for long periods and move objects up to 25 pounds as required.
