Job summary

The Luxury Collection in Doha is seeking a dedicated kitchen team member to prepare ingredients, cook meals, and maintain high quality and safety standards. The role involves handling hot and cold foods, operating kitchen equipment, and ensuring cleanliness and organization throughout shifts.

Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of related experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. This position is on-site at our Doha property with full-time schedule and strict safety policies.

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience.
• License or Certification: None

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including portioning, chopping, and storing food.
• Wash and peel fresh fruits and vegetables; weigh, measure, and mix ingredients.
• Prepare and cook food according to recipes, quality and presentation standards; prepare cold foods.
• Operate ovens, stoves, grills, microwaves, and fryers; test foods for doneness.
• Monitor food quality during preparation; set up and break down work station.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen area, equipment, and ensure safety procedures are followed.
