Job summary

Andaz Doha is seeking a Learning & Development Officer to support the learning, growth, and professional development of colleagues by identifying training needs, coordinating and facilitating programs, and maintaining training records.

The role collaborates with department leaders to enhance skills, drive performance, ensure mandatory training compliance, and promote a culture of continuous learning aligned with the hotel's goals and brand standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in HR, L&D, business, hospitality or related field.
• 2 years experience in Training, L&D, HR, or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of learning principles and training methods.
• Excellent presentation, facilitation, and communication skills.
• Ability to design, coordinate, and deliver engaging training programs.

Summary

A Learning & Development Officer is responsible for supporting the learning, growth, and professional development of employees by identifying training needs, coordinating and facilitating training programs, maintaining training records, and monitoring the effectiveness of learning initiatives. The role works closely with department leaders to enhance employee skills, improve performance, and ensure compliance with mandatory training requirements. Additionally, the Learning & Development Officer promotes a culture of continuous learning, supports talent development and succession planning, coordinates external training opportunities, and helps drive colleague engagement and service excellence in alignment with the organization's goals and brand standards.
