Job summary

Rise Enterprise in Doha is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to take full charge of the pastry section and deliver pastry and bakery items to a consistently high standard. You will manage the section's daily workflow, supervise and train junior pastry staff, and work closely with the Sous Chef Pastry to keep the section running smoothly.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of pastry/bakery experience, including time as a Demi Chef de Partie or similar role.
• Strong leadership and baking skills.
• Experience supervising and training junior pastry staff.
• Diploma/degree in pastry or bakery preferred or equivalent training.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of the pastry section, from prep to finishing, during every service.
• Prepare, bake, and present pastry items that meet quality standards.
• Supervise, train, and schedule Demi Chef de Partie and Commis staff in the pastry section.
• Plan and control stock, ordering and portioning to manage costs and reduce waste.
• Develop and test new pastry items or desserts with the Sous Chef Pastry and Executive Pastry Chef.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleaning standards set by the company and local health authorities.
• Step in for the Sous Chef Pastry when needed and support cross-section communication.
• Diploma or degree in pastry preferred; specialized training in relevant cuisine is a plus.
• At least 4–5 years of pastry experience, including Demi Chef de Partie or similar roles.
