Rise Enterprise in Doha is seeking a motivated Commis III to join our Pastry and Bakery team. You will support pastry chefs with basic prep, weigh and mix ingredients, and keep the pastry section clean and organized while learning baking and pastry skills in a professional kitchen.

No formal pastry education is required; willingness to learn and ability to work under supervision in a team are valued. You should be physically fit and able to stand for long periods as you gain hands-on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and work well under supervision in a team.
• No formal pastry education required; basic knowledge of baking tools and hygiene is a plus.
• Little to no prior pastry or bakery experience needed; willingness to learn is most important.

Responsibilities

• Weigh, measure, and prepare ingredients for baking and pastry as instructed by the chef.
• Assist with basic baking and pastry tasks such as mixing, shaping, and simple decorating.
• Keep the pastry work station, tools, and baking equipment clean and organized at all times.
• Store pastry and bakery items correctly and follow proper labeling and rotation methods (FIFO).
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and cleaning standards set by the company and local health authorities.
• Help receive and unpack pastry supplies, and move ingredients within the section.
• Report any equipment issues, low stock, or safety concerns to the supervisor.
• Must be physically fit, able to stand for long periods, and work well under supervision in a team.
