Job summary

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in pastry/bakery required.
• Kitchen or hospitality management training is a plus.
• 10–12 years in pastry/bakery, with years as Sous Chef or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead pastry and bakery ops across multiple sections/outlets.
• Supervise and support Sous Chefs and pastry staff.
• Maintain quality, presentation, service standards in pastry.
• Oversee budgeting, cost control, stock management, supplier coordination.
• Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene and health regs.
• Lead menu development and seasonal updates with Executive Pastry Chef.
• Support recruitment, training and performance management for pastry team.
• Able to manage multiple sections/outlets and plan strategically.
