Job summary

InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa is seeking an experienced AV Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day delivery of audio-visual services for meetings, conferences, weddings, and other hotel events. You will lead on-site AV setup, testing, operation, and maintenance, ensuring high-quality experiences for guests and event organizers, in collaboration with Events, Banquets, Engineering and other teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in an AV supervisory or senior AV role in luxury hotel or similar environment.
• Strong knowledge of professional audio, video, projection, lighting and event technology.
• Experience supporting conferences, corporate meetings, weddings and large events.
• Good understanding of event setup, technical production, troubleshooting and live event support.
• Excellent problem-solving and calm under pressure.
• Experience in international hotel or luxury hospitality environment is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the hotel's AV function.
• Coordinate setup, operation, and dismantling of AV for events.
• Review event requirements and floor plans to prepare AV needs.
• Conduct equipment checks and testing before each event.
• Provide on-site technical support throughout events.
• Maintain AV equipment inventory and records.
• Coordinate with Events, Banquets and Engineering teams.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
