Job summary

Rosewood Doha is seeking a proactive AV Technician to maintain and operate audio, video and lighting systems for events and daily operations. You will ensure safety, perform preventive maintenance and provide on-site support during conferences, weddings and banquets.

The role requires hands-on experience with AV equipment, strong problem-solving skills and the ability to collaborate with event planners and hotel departments to deliver flawless experiences for guests and colleagues alike.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AV systems, audio/visual equipment and related technologies.
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain equipment records.
• Strong collaboration with event teams and hotel departments.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies, service procedures and standards.
• Operate and test AV equipment, lighting and sound systems for events.
• Perform preventive maintenance and address AV issues promptly.
• Coordinate with Sales and Banquets to understand AV requirements for events.
• Ensure safety, reliability and quality in all AV installations and operations.
