Job summary

Banyan Tree Doha is seeking an experienced AV Technician to support luxury events and live productions. You will install, configure and operate AV equipment, ensuring superior sound and visuals for conferences, banquets, and performances.

You will work closely with event coordinators and hotel IT teams, manage on-site equipment inventory and maintenance, and provide technical support to presenters and staff at a high-end hospitality property.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years of proven experience in a similar AV Technician role.
• Diploma or Certificate in Electrical Engineering or AV technology is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of professional audio, video, lighting, and conferencing systems.

Responsibilities

• Install, set up, and configure AV equipment for events.
• Operate and control AV systems during events to ensure high-quality sound and visuals.
• Manage live audio mixing, video switching, and lighting during events.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshoot AV equipment as needed.
• Provide technical support to event organizers, presenters, and users.
