Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group is seeking an AV Supervisor for the InterContinental Doha Beach & Spa. You will oversee on-site AV delivery across meetings, conferences, weddings, and other hotel events, ensuring equipment is set up, tested, and maintained to the highest standards.

You will work closely with Events, Banquets, Engineering, and other teams to deliver safe, efficient, and exceptional guest experiences while maintaining accurate AV records and supporting new technology initiatives.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in an AV supervisory or senior AV role.
• Strong practical knowledge of professional audio, video, projection, lighting, and event technology.
• Experience supporting a wide range of events, including conferences and weddings.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operation of the hotel’s AV function and ensure timely delivery of requirements.
• Coordinate setup, operation, and dismantling of AV equipment for meetings and events.
• Provide on-site technical support and respond to issues during events.
• Maintain equipment and inventory, and liaise with other departments for smooth execution.
• Ensure health and safety standards are followed and backups are available for critical events.
