Job summary

Qatar Airways Group is seeking a Lead Compliance and Control to build and maintain robust compliance frameworks, safeguard reputational integrity, and drive governance across the organization in Doha.

The role collaborates with cross-functional teams to develop policies, conducts risk assessments and audits, supports investigations and remediation, and leads training programs to promote a culture of integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required; minimum 4 years of job-related experience.
• Experience in retail (preferred travel retail) and/or food & beverage industry and/or audit background.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement compliance policies and procedures collaborating with cross-functional teams; tailor policies to the business environment.
• Conduct regular compliance monitoring and audits to ensure adherence and timely reporting to management.
• Identify, assess and mitigate compliance, operational, financial, fraud or reputational risks with action plans.
• Support internal and external audits by engaging with auditors and providing required information.
• Design and deliver compliance trainings and awareness programs to promote integrity and ethical behavior.
• Lead investigations and remediation efforts for potential compliance breaches and conflicts of interest.
• Promote internal controls enhancements to strengthen risk management and efficiency.
• Stay updated on regulatory changes and advise management on actions required.
