Senior Associate, Domestic Compliance Strategy

Job summary

QNB Group in Doha seeks a proactive Compliance professional to manage domestic regulatory obligations across its Business divisions and Subsidiaries in Qatar. You will drive the compliance strategy, oversee risk assessments, and ensure adherence to local regulations and group policies.

The role requires coordinating with regulators such as QCB, QFMA, QE and QFCRA, delivering training, and guiding the team to meet KPIs and governance standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree with CIA/CCO/CISI qualifications.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a major banking institution or in a consultancy firm.
• Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
• Fluent English and Arabic written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Identify regulatory compliance risks for Domestic activities and provide strategic directions.
• Support in setting up the domestic compliance strategy and oversee KPIs.
• Report to Board and Committees on adequacy of policies and controls.
• Develop training materials in English and Arabic for compliance.
• Coordinate with QCB, QFMA, QE, QFCRA and regulators.
• Lead staff and ensure SLAs and group objectives are met.
