Job summary

Four Seasons Doha is seeking a skilled Bakery & Pastry Chef to prepare breads, pastries, cakes, and desserts according to our luxury standards. You will support daily bakery operations, ensure quality, and maintain cost control in a high-end hotel environment.

Experience in a luxury restaurant and French pastry background are preferred, with excellent English and a keen eye for detail. Living accommodation is provided along with extensive training and staff meals as part of our commitment to

Qualifications

• Experience in Luxury Restaurant and related field.
• Background in French Pastry will be an advantage
• Excellent command in English
• Good eye / attention to details

Responsibilities

• Prepare and produce breads, pastries, cakes, desserts, and other bakery products according to approved recipes and standards.
• Ensure consistency in product quality, taste, texture, portioning, and presentation.
• Perform mixing, baking, decorating, finishing, and other bakery and pastry production processes.
• Monitor daily production requirements and ensure timely preparation of all assigned items.
• Minimize food wastage and maintain effective portion and cost control.
• Properly operate and maintain bakery and pastry equipment and report any defects or maintenance requirements.
• Support the Bakery & Pastry Chef during daily operations, functions, and special events.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the supervisor or management.
