Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a Commis Chef to join the kitchen team at Al Najada Doha Hotel By Tivoli in Doha. You’ll help produce creative dishes while upholding health and safety standards and working closely with team members to exceed guest expectations.

You will communicate effectively, stay calm under pressure, and carry out basic food preparation and kitchen organization tasks to support the dining operation. Experience in F&B and a passion for teamwork are valued.

Qualifications

• High School degree is required.
• Experience in Food & Beverage/restaurant operations is preferred.
• Ability to work in a team and provide excellent guest service.
• Knowledge of basic food preparation, presentation and preservation.
• Basic knowledge of hygiene and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high standards of health and safety and personal hygiene.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen team and accept constructive criticism.
• Multi-task calmly while handling multiple orders in a brief time.
• Perform basic tasks of food preparation and kitchen organization.

Education

High School degree

Previous F&B/Restaurant ops experience
