Job summary

• Requires general product knowledge of tooling types and competency within own technical/subject area.
• Awareness of how the service integrates with maintenance users to achieve service levels.

Responsibilities

• Manage acceptance, storage, release and disposal of tools in central storage.
• Ensure identification, recording and monitoring of tooling with unique serial/ID numbers.
• Track conditioning, labeling and documentation; manage tool tallies/labels for tool control.
• Check incoming deliveries against orders; ensure certification and maintenance docs; packaging OK.
• Ensure timely inspection, servicing and calibration of tools; notify leaders when calibration exceeds limits.
• Remove surplus or unserviceable tooling and update tracking system; place unserviceable tally.
