Job summary

Al-Futtaim Retail is seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Controller in Doha, Qatar to support stock accuracy, inventory movements and operational coordination across approximately 20 stores in Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

The role requires practical retail stock handling experience, strong computer skills and the ability to manage inventory information accurately while coordinating with store, warehouse, supplier and brand teams.

Qualifications

• Diploma or High School education required.
• Qualification from a recognized supply chain management or logistics institute.
• 1–2 years of experience in retail stock handling in the local market.
• Experience with stock movements, inventory records and accuracy procedures.
• Strong PC skills and ability to maintain electronic stock records.

Responsibilities

• Track incoming and outgoing merchandise movements between warehouses and retail stores.
• Monitor stock transfers to maintain accurate inventory records and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain shipment records and update inventory management systems.
• Identify and escalate stock discrepancies to suppliers and internal teams.
• Coordinate with store, warehouse and brand teams to minimize stock losses and ensure product availability.
• Perform weekly stock accuracy checks and support barcode-related issues.
