Job summary

Arab Center for Engineering Studies in Doha, Qatar is seeking an HR Officer to coordinate and perform all HR activities, including recruitment, training, performance monitoring and payroll. The role requires implementing HR policies, advising managers, coordinating annual appraisals, arranging training, handling payroll and benefits, and maintaining accurate HR records to support a productive workforce.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• HR Professional Certificate is preferable.
• 0-2 years of experience in HR.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and perform all HR activities including recruitment and hiring, training and development, performance monitoring, employee relations, and payroll.
• Implement HR policies and procedures including performance management, attendance management and disciplinary procedures, etc.
• Provide HR advice and support to line managers and employees; explain policies and procedures in a timely effective manner.
• Coordinate annual employee performance appraisal with the Group HR & Admin Manager.
• Arrange, coordinate and implement training and development activities based on appraisal data and competency frameworks.
• Assist in developing and conduct general orientation programs and follow-up departmental orientation programs.
• Draft employment offer letters and contracts for selected candidates.
• Assist in preparing the monthly payroll sheet and make the financial settlements needed accurately.
• Ensure pay-deductions, commissions, overtime, income tax liabilities and Zakat liabilities in compliance.
• Administer Employees Healthcare benefit and ensure the implementation of the healthcare contract.
• Submit periodically reports and studies as requested by the management.
